Highlands/LoHi

The best way to describe the area known as The Highlands is diverse. It is an eclectic mixture of Victorian-era homes to ultra-modern architecture and everything in between. It is a mixture of lush gardens and parks, art galleries, bookstores and incredibly popular, hip restaurants and bars.

The Denver area collectively known as The Highlands is actually comprised of three separate districts:

  • Highlands Square
  • Tennyson Street
  • Lower Highlands (LoHi)

Highlands Square is characterized by independent boutiques, restaurants and bars. While LoHi is best known for its mix of old and new architecture, innovative restaurants and incredible views of the Highland Bridge and downtown Denver. Tennyson Street is best described as a cultural district where you can spend an afternoon browsing antique prints and photographs. Paintings from Colorado artists and local music venues, and great ethnic foods.

The Highlands Denver is a very appealing place to live and work. There is truly something for every taste!
