Property Owners: We’ve Got Your Winter Prep Tips

Denver Property In WinterWith every new season comes a new to-do list for property owners, and the end of the year can be the toughest time to keep up with it all – there’s already so much to do, right? You’ve got holiday soirees to plan and attend, presents to buy and wrap, greeting cards to send and family gatherings to coordinate and cook for. It’s a busy time, and we get that! So at InTransit Properties, we’ve got you covered. Instead of wondering what you should do this season, here’s a checklist of a few simple tasks for property owners to complete before Dec. 31 comes around in order to keep your property in tip-top shape.

✓ Disconnect hoses from the hose bibs.
✓ Remove fallen leaves. Leaf/fall clean up is crucial for the long-term health of your lawn. Snow on top of leaf cover creates a mold/mildew issue that can cause unwanted fungus, mushrooms, etc.
✓ Double check your gutters and let InTransit know if they are looking clogged with the fallen leaves. Improper drainage can cause damage to both the exterior and foundation of the home.

Now that you’ve got your property prepped for winter, go enjoy the festivities of the holiday season! And, of course, don’t hesitate to call us with any questions. We’re here to help.
